Details
Since the beginning of this year, Mountain Spring has taken part in a series of mountain cleanup events, hiking the trails and carrying out litter along the way. The scenery may be beautiful, but protecting the environment matters even more — and those of us who love the outdoors should love nature itself just as deeply. That is why we answered the call from Mo Ran Zi Ran (Keep Nature Clean) and joined fellow outdoor enthusiasts in this mountain cleanup initiative.
Leave No Trace
September 18, 2022 marked World Cleanup Day and also the 91st anniversary of the September 18th Incident. On this day of special significance, we gathered at Wuchao Mountain in Hangzhou.

A total of 107 participants joined the Wuchao Mountain cleanup, collecting approximately 61 kg of litter. The event also served as a tribute to the victims of the Wuchao Mountain Massacre.
Let us never forget the lessons of history — the peace we enjoy today was earned by those who came before us.
Let us cherish the wild — human civilization thrives only when rooted in nature.

A Future Worth Looking Forward To
This was the largest and most youth-filled cleanup event since Mo Ran Zi Ran was founded. Not counting unofficial participants, 102 people were officially registered, including 23 children — the youngest just four years old. To ensure safety, the organizers assigned eight team leaders. Everyone returned safely, and together the group collected 61 kg of litter.

The children were spirited and endearing, brimming with energy and determination, refusing to let a single scrap of litter escape their notice along the trail.

Mountain Spring's mini sit pads were provided for the event, giving everyone a comfortable seat during rest breaks.

The cleanup covered over 10 kilometers and lasted seven hours. We hope that more and more people will join in efforts like this, helping to make environmental stewardship a shared value — no matter when or where, starting with small actions in our everyday lives. Thank you to every participant who gave their time and effort to making our natural spaces a little cleaner and a little more beautiful.
